Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Administrator to support, maintain, and optimize enterprise-level mainframe systems for client. This role focuses on ensuring system reliability, performance tuning, and issue resolution across production and non-production environments. Candidates must be local or willing to commute onsite twice per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, configure, and maintain mainframe infrastructure and system software.
• Perform system upgrades, patching activities, backups, and performance optimization.
• Monitor, diagnose, and troubleshoot mainframe system issues to ensure stability and uptime.
• Collaborate with internal IT, infrastructure, and support teams to facilitate smooth operations.
• Ensure adherence to security, audit, and compliance requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Mainframe Administrator.
• Strong expertise with z/OS, JCL, RACF, DB2, and mainframe operational tools.
• Ability to perform system tuning, troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
