Job summary

The Canadian Executive Search Group in Chattanooga is seeking an Administrative Warehouse Associate to support shipping/receiving and administrative duties on the floor. This temp-to-hire role requires Microsoft Excel proficiency and the ability to operate in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include lifting up to 70 pounds, assisting customers, and coordinating with management to ensure accurate inventory movement. On-site 1st shift, 8AM-5PM, Monday-Friday.

Administrative Warehouse Associate - $18/hr / Microsoft Excel Experience

The Canadian Executive Search Group, a division of Arrow Workforce Solutions is now hiring experienced Warehouse Associate WITH ADMINISTARTIVE SKILLS for our client located in Chattanooga Nearer to trhe downtown industrial Area. This positions is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity!!!

The Admin Role -. This is not a position where the individual will solely be at a desk inputting information. They will often be out on the floor assisting with shipping/receiving, unloading trucks, assisting will-call customers, and other warehouse functions. They will need to be able to lift the tires, walk across the warehouse multiple times a day, etc. They will also need to be relatively proficient in using computers – MICROFOFT EXCEL experience is highly preferred!!!

Shifts:

1st Shift, 8AM to 5PM Monday-Friday

Job Summary:

The warehouse associate will assist in the loading and unloading of trailers; will utilize the operating system to record the movement of product in/out of the warehouse and receive cross-training in all functional areas. The individual must be able to take direction well and multi-task effectively to perform various tasks as assigned by management.

Reports To:

Warehouse General Manager

Essential Functions

• Accurately pick and ship inventory for order fulfillment
• Accurately perform cycle counts and physical counts
• Operate Powered Industrial Trucks
• Assist in warehouse cleaning and maintenance
• Perform additional duties as required by management
• Unload incoming inventory and prepare it for storage
• Complete all tasks as assigned by management.

The successful candidate’s qualifications will include:

• Valid driver’s license
• Prior experience in shipping / receiving / inventory management
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds
• Excellent communications skills
• Team-oriented
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience and/or training
• Strong knowledge base of warehouse operations
• Microsoft Office products knowledge required

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, forklifts. pallet jacks, mount and balance equipment and other various equipment as assigned by management.

Physical Demands

The individual in this position will spend several hours standing and using warehouse equipment and computers, which can cause muscle strain ina NON-CLIMATE CONTROLLED WAREHOUSE. May also have to do lifting of suppliesand product on a daily basis. These supplies and product can weigh up to 70 pounds. Schedule and Availability
