The California High-Speed Rail Authority seeks a Supervisor I to oversee the Regional Office Administrative Support Unit and lead staff performing broad administrative functions in a fast-paced state environment.
Under direction, the incumbent will supervise fleets, facilities, health and safety programs, and contracted services, developing work standards and ensuring customer-focused service across the region.

Under the general direction of the California High-Speed Rail Authority’s (Authority) Regional Office Administrative Support Manager, the Supervisor I is responsible for supervising the Regional Office Administrative Support Unit and the staff who perform broad and varied administrative functions. The Supervisor I provides oversight for the following functions, which include but are not limited to, fleet and vehicle management, maintenance program management, Fleet Acquisition Plans, facilities management, project management of various contracted services, and various health and safety program functions such as training and ergonomic evaluations. The incumbent will oversee the development of work standards, monitors the attainment of those standards, establishes consistent work processes, and ensures the development of a customer service-oriented office.

The High-Speed Rail Authority headquarters building is located in downtown Sacramento on the corner of 8th and L Street. We are located one block away from the 8th and Capitol light rail stop, as well as the 7th and Capitol light rail stop. The building is also within walking distance of DOCO, the California State Capitol Park, a farmer’s market during summer months, and Old Sacramento.
