Job summary

The State of Missouri is seeking a warehouse and procurement-focused professional to support the Missouri National Guard Facilities Division in Springfield. The role emphasizes vendor coordination, inventory control, and adherence to SOPs within a large public-sector operation.

Responsibilities include requisitioning, price checks, and packaging for high-dollar items, plus participation in implementing system-based inventory tools.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of relevant experience or a bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of relevant experience.(Substitutions may be allowed).
• Possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency.
• This position requires acquiring and/or maintaining a T1 investigation clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist department heads and other personnel in the preparation of specifications for supplies and equipment; contacts vendors to obtain information on cost, availability, and conformance to specifications. Work alongside supervisors engaged with Stock Funded Depot Level Repairable, Repairable Management, Authorized Stockage List Warehouse, and Bench Stock. Communicate with AMCOM Supply Representatives, Program Managers, and Item Managers.
• Purchase items from vendors; contacts vendors to obtain price quotations; and investigates and processes claims for merchandise damaged in transit. Package and direct packaging of fragile or HAZMAT supplies in filling requisitions for distribution or shipment. Orders, receives, and tracks with accurate accounting multiple classes of supply a year in excess of 50 million dollars. Compose correspondence to furnish information to the customers in the required format as required by the SOP.
• Assist in the design and implementation of various inventory management systems, including parts and tools responsible for following the SOP to ensure deliveries are processed expeditiously with minimum errors. Exercise independent judgment and initiative under close supervision; work is reviewed for conformance to established policies and procedures.

• Assist in the design and implementation of various inventory management systems, including parts and tools responsible for following the Supply Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure deliveries are processed in an expeditious manner with minimum errors. Exercise independent judgment and initiative under close supervision; work is reviewed for conformance to established policies and procedures.
• Maintain and use multiple Standard Army Management Information Systems (ST AMIS) systems in the Supply Area of Operation; including but not limited to Global Combat Support System Army (GCSS-ARMY), Tool Room Management System, and Aviation Round-out Maintenance Management Information System (ARMMIS).
• Operate specialized equipment such as forklifts and motorized or hydraulic jacks. Package and direct packaging of fragile or HAZMAT supplies in filling requisitions for distribution or shipment. Coordinate with information technology staff in the design and installation of management information systems for the improvement of operation and management decisions.
• Complies with all state and office standard operating procedures and performs other duties as assigned.
