  • Leadership Development Opportunity | Early Childhood Education

Are you organized, dependable, confident, and looking for an opportunity to grow into a leadership role in early childhood education?

The Learning Experience is seeking a motivated Administrative Support professional to join our leadership team. This position is designed for someone who can provide exceptional administrative and operational support today while developing the skills and knowledge needed to take on greater center leadership responsibilities in the future.

For the right candidate, this role offers a clear opportunity to grow into an Assistant Director position after consistently demonstrating the ability to support center operations, lead the team, maintain licensing and brand standards, and confidently manage the center in the Director’s absence.

At The Learning Experience, “happy happens here” is more than our motto—it’s the culture we strive to create for our children, families, and team every day.

What You’ll Do

Working closely with the Center Director, you’ll gain hands‑on experience across the administrative, operational, and leadership functions of the center, including:

  • Providing daily administrative and operational support to the Center Director

  • Creating a warm, professional, and welcoming experience for children, families, staff, and visitors

  • Assisting with enrollment, student records, center documentation, and family communication

  • Maintaining organized and accurate records while supporting compliance with state licensing requirements

  • Learning and supporting staff scheduling, classroom ratios, and daily staffing needs

  • Helping ensure classrooms and common areas consistently meet center expectations

  • Supporting teachers and providing guidance when appropriate

  • Assisting with center tours, prospective family inquiries, enrollment efforts, and family engagement

  • Helping coordinate center events, staff initiatives, and special projects

  • Supporting classrooms when needed to maintain ratios and ensure children receive a safe and nurturing experience

  • Learning the center’s daily opening, closing, safety, licensing, and operational procedures

  • Taking on increasing leadership responsibilities as knowledge and abilities are demonstrated

  • Developing the ability to confidently oversee center operations in the Director’s absence

This Could Be a Great Fit If You:

  • Have a genuine passion for children, families, and early childhood education

  • Are highly organized and notice the details others may miss

  • Are dependable, consistent, and follow through on responsibilities

  • Communicate professionally and confidently with families and team members

  • Are comfortable holding yourself and others accountable to expectations

  • Can remain calm and make sound decisions in a busy, fast‑paced environment

  • Take initiative rather than waiting to be told what needs to be done

  • Are eager to learn the operational and leadership side of running a childcare center

  • Want an opportunity to grow professionally and earn greater leadership responsibility

  • Have previous childcare, early education, administrative, or leadership experience

  • Meet all applicable state licensing requirements for the position

A Real Opportunity for Advancement

We are looking for more than someone to complete administrative tasks—we are looking for someone with leadership potential.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn the center from the inside out while working directly alongside the Center Director.

As you demonstrate consistency, sound judgment, accountability, knowledge of center operations, and the ability to lead the center with fidelity to our standards, additional leadership responsibilities will be entrusted to you.

A team member who demonstrates the ability to successfully and consistently manage center operations in the Director’s absence may have the opportunity to advance into an Assistant Director role.

Advancement is based on demonstrated performance, readiness, and the needs of the center.
