Orlando Health Advanced Rehabilitation Institute is seeking an Administrative Supervisor to ensure timely patient flow and off-shift leadership in a high-acuity inpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Current Florida RN license; National Certification in specialty area within 2 years.
• Maintains current BLS; ACLS/PALS/NALS/TNCC as determined by specialty area.
• Two years of RN experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates timely and safe patient flow and provides off-shift management.
• Oversees operational oversight of the acute care hospital setting and ensures safe, quality patient care.
• Leads communication with staff, drives relationship building, and promotes patient-centered decisions.
• Supports risk management and compliance with required standards and reporting.

Position Summary

Orlando Health Advanced Rehabilitation Institute offers comprehensive CARF-accredited inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs for adults, adolescents and children, with specialty programs in stroke, spinal cord and brain injury rehabilitation. A dedicated 54-bed rehabilitation hospital provides post-acute care for patients requiring medical and intensive rehabilitative therapies covering a full range of orthopedic and neurological conditions. The facility has all-private rooms, three therapy gyms outfitted with the latest technology (e.g., weight-assisted treadmill, robotics for training in arm/hand coordination and walking, and communication-assistance technology), a simulated apartment, and an expansive outdoor space for additional therapeutic activity. Outpatient centers feature interdisciplinary teams working together to help each patient meet their individual rehabilitation goals and achieve the highest possible level of independence.

A Day in YOUR Life as an Administrative Supervisor

The Administrative Supervisor facilitates timely and safe patient flow and provides off-shift management and operational oversight of the acute care hospital setting, and ensures the provision of safe, quality patient care.

Schedule: PRN (as needed)

• One overnight shift per week
• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Required Qualifications

• Education/Training
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Licensure/Certification
  • Current professional license as a registered nurse in the State of Florida. National Certification in specialty area within 2 years.
  • Maintains current BLS; as determined by specialty area ACLS, PALS, NALS, or TNCC is required.
• Experience
  • Two (2) years of experience as a registered nurse in the acute care setting.
