Presbyterian is hiring an Administrative Staff Support for the Radiology Department to perform a variety of clerical support services for the efficient operations of a designated department

Qualifications




  • High school plus specialized, short-term training in secretarial skills, ability to type 45 wpm, word processor skills.

Responsibilities




  • Obtains all information necessary for admission and discharge of patients, including information to ensure payment to Presbyterian Hospital.
  • Responsible for retrieving all medical records including pathology reports, x-ray reports, and all outside reports from referring physicians
  • Answers all calls promptly and courteously, taking accurate messages and delivering them in a timely manner.
  • Provides back up for all patient charges and insurance verification/processing.
  • Prepares daily treatment, doctor, and simulator schedules and distributes in a timely manner
