Here's what you can expect when you join PRT
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Join our team as an Administrative Specialist - Nursery Operations at PRT Brownlee, a container forest seedling nursery that grows 49.6 million seedlings annually. This is a varied role that combines essential administrative and purchasing support with hands-on involvement in nursery operations and regular opportunities to work outdoors with our crop. Reporting to the Nursery Manager, you'll help keep the site running smoothly through accurate administration, inventory and supply coordination, crop data collection, and shipping support. If you're highly organized, enjoy variety in your day, and like the idea of balancing office-based work with time outdoors in an active nursery environment, this could be a great fit.
What You'll Do
What YOU bring to the table
You're a highly organized and self-motivated professional who enjoys variety and doesn't want to spend every day behind a desk. You're comfortable moving between administrative details, purchasing and inventory coordination, customer communication, and hands-on work outdoors in the nursery. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring the attention to detail and flexibility needed to support a busy production operation.
We embrace openness and different perspectives to challenge conventional approaches and continuously improve our company’s performance and progress. We believe that diversity of thought helps us drive innovation, make better decisions, achieve effective stewardship of our business and enable our people to thrive.
