A leading educational institution is seeking a Grant Coordinator to manage federal and state financial aid disbursements. The role involves coordinating office activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and assisting students with inquiries. The Grant Coordinator, an Administrative Specialist III, is responsible for coordinating office activities, researching and preparing reports, and developing, revising, and recommending administrative policies and procedures as directed by the supervisor. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.
Working knowledge of Banner information system, data system functions, record management systems, and retention policies. Knowledge of federal and state privacy laws and regulations. Ability to analyze, evaluate, and recommend improvements to records systems flow.
Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., with additional hours as needed. Regular and reliable attendance required.
Assist students, parents, staff, faculty, and external agencies with financial aid inquiries.
Preferred: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent; one (1) year of specialized training in business management, education, or related field. Other relevant education or experience may be substituted upon approval.
