St. Louis County in Minnesota is seeking an administrative support specialist to assist the commissioner with office tasks, routing correspondence, answering calls, and processing travel reimbursements. The role supports constituent services and coordinates schedules.

The typical schedule for this position is Monday - Friday with a 37.5-hour work week.
The salary range reflected above is the normal hiring range for 2026. The full salary range, including longevity pay, is $24.68 - $34.91 per hour.

An employee in this class performs information processing and constituent service functions tasks in the offices of County Board members or the County Administrator. Duties include processing correspondence; coordinating appointments and administrative schedules; gathering information on issues and concerns for administrative action; responding to requests regarding County services; assisting with marketing, communications, and special projects. The work is performed under the direction of a County Board member and assigned supervisory staff.
