Are you a detail-oriented financial professional with experience in purchasing? Community Supervision is seeking a skilled Fiscal Analyst to join our team and play a vital role in our Judicial Division III office.
The Department of Adult Correction, Division of Community Supervision is seeking a Fiscal Analyst to join the team in the Judicial Division III office in Kernersville. The Fiscal Analyst works independently under the general supervision and guidelines set by the Judicial Division Director, and serves as the approving authority for fiscal, budgetary and financial transactions initiated by Judicial District Managers. This includes purchasing, fixed asset management, motor fleet management, oversight of telecommunications, management information systems purchasing, leases, and budget management within Community Supervision Judicial Division III, i.e., Judicial District Offices within the Piedmont-Triad area. This position collaborates with agency business heads and officials within Community Supervision and the Department of Adult Correction.
The mission of Community Supervision is to protect citizens by providing alternatives and supervision to offenders on probation, parole, or post-release supervision. The primary goal is to balance control and treatment to positively influence offender behavior.

This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) with State Benefits.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities / Competencies: Applicants must demonstrate knowledge of public and business administration, experience in purchasing and accounting, and knowledge of business math and office procedures. Preference given to candidates with experience in NCFS and e-procurement systems used by NC.
