SALARY: The salary range for this position is $50,815.18 to $83,252.20 for Schedule A, and $50,815.18 to $79,089.59 for Schedule B. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater.Judiciary employees hired prior to June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule A. Newly hired individuals, and Judiciary employees hired on or after June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule B.

REMOTE WORK : The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, in addition to installing a multifactor authentication app on your phone or tablet, you will be required to have high speed home internet access.
The Hudson Vicinage has an exciting opportunity for a customer focused Human Resources professional who is detail oriented, motivated, and organized. Under the direction of the Human Resources Division Manager and other supervisory personnel, the successful candidate will assist with recruitment efforts for the vicinage by managing classified and unclassified recruitments; coordinating and submitting position requests; reviewing resumes; scheduling interviews; monitoring and updating organizational charts and staffing reports; and onboarding new hires. This position will also be responsible for preparing documentation for disciplinary matters and updating the grievance database. The incumbent will also serve as the Vicinage’s Internship Coordinator and act as a backup payroll coordinator, when necessary. Other duties include, but are not limited to, providing administrative support to management; participating in team or work unit meetings; interpreting laws, rules, and policies; establishing work relationships with state agencies and other outside organizations; participating in special projects; serving on committees or task forces; communicating Human Resources policies, rules or regulations; and drafting correspondence. Essential in-person duties include covering the customer service window, providing in-person assistance to employees, filing, and scanning. The successful candidate will interact with all levels of employees, so strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills are a must. Regular and predictable physical presence at the worksite is an essential function of this position.Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree.
Substitution:Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional paraprofessional and/or professional experience on a year-for-year basis with one year of such experience being equal to 30 semester hour credits. An associate's degree and two years of additional paraprofessional and/or professional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
