Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an administrative assistant based in Westlake, TX to provide a wide range of support to department managers in the Power Delivery group. The role requires attention to detail, autonomy, and the ability to manage multiple projects and schedules.

You will edit communications, coordinate meetings, assist travel, process expenses, and back up other staff while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced corporate office.

Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • At least one year of experience as administrative assistant
  • At least one year of meeting and event planning experience
  • Highly flexible and able to work efficiently in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
  • Be highly organized with exceptional time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment, sometimes with minimal guidance
  • Requires skills in using computer applications for word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet navigation, e-mail, and calendars
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with the ability to learn and adapt to new programs and processes
  • Work productively and meet deadlines timely
  • Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment
  • Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies
  • Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required
  • May work at various different locations and conditions may vary
