Job summary

Kids for the Future seeks an experienced administrative professional to streamline office operations in Oklahoma City. You will analyze and organize clerical processes, prepare payrolls, manage information and filing, and coordinate supplies and vendor communications.

Responsibilities include maximizing productivity through software use, preserving records, generating activity reports, and maintaining client and vendor contact.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
  • Home health experience preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos; write simple correspondence.

Description

Primary Position Responsibilities

Analyzes and organizes office operations and procedures such as, pr eparation of payrolls , information management, filing systems, requisition of supplies, and other clerical services.

Maximizes office productivity through proficient use of appropriate software applications.

Formulates procedures for systematic retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records.

Reviews clerical records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.

Prepares activity reports for guidance of management.

Maintains contact with customers and outside vendors.

Education/Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Home health experience preferred.

Certificates and Licenses

Valid Driver’s License

Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills : To perform this job successfully , an individual should have knowledge of word processing software and spreadsheet software as well as Point of Care systems. Must also have experience with internet and email systems.
