Job summary

Community Health Alliance-Ohio is seeking an Administrative Specialist to join our behavioral health team. You will be the first contact for clients, delivering welcoming, compassionate service while supporting daily operations of outpatient and community programs.

Responsibilities include scheduling, registrations, EHR maintenance, and coordinating with clinical staff to ensure timely access to care. A valid Ohio driver’s license and one year of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of one year of administrative, medical office, healthcare, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Valid Ohio driver’s license required.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients, visitors, and partners in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Answer calls, schedule appointments, manage calendars, and assist clients with accessing services.
  • Complete patient registrations and verify demographic information.
  • Maintain accurate electronic health records and administrative documentation.
  • Manage waitlists and coordinate appointment scheduling.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain office supplies and reception areas.
  • Support reports, data tracking, and special projects as assigned.
  • Protect client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
