The Administrative Services Coordinator supports clinic operations in a busy academic department, managing patient activities, scheduling, billing, and administrative tasks. This is a key role with potential oversight responsibilities, located at PAH with network collaboration at HUP. After onboarding, a hybrid schedule may be available.

Responsibilities
  • Manage clinic operations, including patient scheduling, triaging calls, obtaining authorizations, and billing processes.
  • Coordinate clinical activities, including patient intake, diagnostic tests, procedures, and pre-operative preparations.
  • Handle administrative duties such as answering calls, maintaining schedules, and supporting meetings and travel arrangements.
  • Assist with billing, ensuring proper coding and timely submission of reports.
  • Support research activities and special projects, including staff training and manual updates.
Qualifications
  • H.S. Diploma/GED required.
  • Minimum 5 years of medical office or customer service experience.
  • Related clinical office experience required.
  • Experience in healthcare insurance verification preferred.
  • Degree may substitute for experience.
Additional Information
