The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency wants you to be our newest administrative professional at our Northwest District Office in Bowling Green.

As Ohio EPA’s administrative professional, you’ll support numerous programs in our Northwest District Office through routine administrative tasks. This will include typing, editing, and formatting technical materials using different scientific terminology from electronic documents and written copies. You’ll perform office file maintenance, ensuring the agency's file systems are maintained and properly consolidated as needed.

You’ll assist with public records requests, pulling files, logging necessary information, and copying records. You’ll also perform different special clerical projects, preparing and maintaining the division's automated application system, logs, and reports.

Additionally, you’ll serve as the district’s office receptionist and be an initial contact for visitors. You’ll serve as a backup for other administrative peers as needed and help manage the Northwest District’s mail.

  • Maintain file systems for various divisions’ technical files and associated databases, including routine maintenance of file systems.

  • Support administrative duties for multiple divisions and back up other administrative peers.
  • Perform clerical tasks related to sending out, receiving, and distributing mail.
