Completes various hospital pharmacy technician tasks, as assigned. Works with the Pharmacy Analyst as support to tasks related to drug charge master maintenance, billing and reimbursement, and quality assurance.
High school graduate or equivalent. High school diploma or equivalent. WV Pharmacy Technician or Technician Trainee license required. Passing National Certification of Pharmacy Technicians within one year of employment. Associates degree or equivalent education in related courses preferred.
Previous health care related clerical or administrative assistant experience preferred. Previous hospital pharmacy technician experience preferred.
Working knowledge of general office machines, including copier and fax machine. Good written and oral communication skills, ability to learn quickly, good problem solving ability, strong computer skills, possesses good interpersonal skills.
