PITCHBLACK Immersive Experiences is a cutting-edge entertainment company specializing in creating unique and unforgettable sensory adventures in complete darkness. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Director of Development to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Director of Development will be responsible for leading fundraising efforts, cultivating donor relationships, and securing financial support to advance the mission and goals of PITCHBLACK Immersive Experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy.
• Identify, cultivate, and solicit major donors and prospects.
• Manage grant applications and reporting processes.
• Plan and execute fundraising events.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including donors, board members, and community leaders.
• Develop and oversee donor databases and tracking systems.
• Prepare reports on fundraising activities and progress.
• Focus on US, Argentina, UK and other international grant opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Proven track record in fundraising and development.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in donor cultivation and solicitation.
• Experience and familiarity in US, Latin American, and other international fundraising efforts
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus but not a requirement.
  
  

Compensation:

• 6-month part-time contract, with possibility of renewal.
• Starting at $1,000 flexible fee based on experience + Commission on grants awarded from Director of Development’s efforts.
• The job is remote with occasional in-person engagements in New York.
