The Alaska Deparment of Fish and Game, Division or Wildlife Conservation, is recruiting for an Administrative Officer 1 (PCN 112139) position to join our team in Juneau.
This position is part of the Division of Wildlife Conservation (DWC) headquarters administrative team and directly supports headquarters staff, the Statewide Information Services, Data Management, and Education Outreach programs, as well as provides support to all the regional admin. This position supervises one Adminstative Assistant 2 located in Juneau. The Administrative Officer works independently, provides leadership and management support in the areas of budget development, procurement, personnel management, payroll, travel, and policy and procedures.

The position allows a flexible work schedule and potential for hybrid telework agreement after a training period.
The position is located in Juneau in the Fish and Game building that sits next to the whale monument in the downtown area overlooking the Gastineau Channel. There is access to glaciers, trails, skiing, and other various establishments nearby. This position will have their own office and work with a great group of dedicated staff.
Travel in this position could be 1 - 2 times per year for training, up to 4 days.
