The Executive Office for U.S. Attorneys and the Office of the U.S. Attorneys is seeking a candidate at the GS-13 level.

To qualify you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-12 in Federal Service, including advisory work for senior management and leadership of programs in areas such as Budget, HR, IT, or contracting. Eligibility may also involve ICTAP, CTAP, or VEOA considerations for eligible veterans or displaced employees.

Job description

GS-13

To be eligible at the GS-13 level, you must have ONE year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in Federal Service.

Specialized experience

includes experience performing the following:

  • 1) providing advisory services to senior management officials in an administrative program area;
  • 2) overseeing a program or leading a team for one or more of the following administrative program areas: (a) Budget; (b) Human Resources (HR); (c) Information Technology (IT); or (d) Acquisitions and/or Contracting.
Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan (ICTAP)-

If your agency has notified you in writing that you are a displaced Federal competitive service employee with selection priority over other candidates for competitive service vacancies, you may receive selection priority if:

  • 1) this vacancy is within your ICTAP eligibility;
  • 2) you apply under the instructions in the announcement;
  • 3) you are found well-qualified for this vacancy.

To be well-qualified, you must satisfy all qualification requirements for the vacant position and receive a score of 85 or better on established ranking criteria. You must provide proof of eligibility to receive selection priority. Career Transition Assistance Plan (CTAP)-
