Responsibilities

• Processes all outbound referrals promptly and prioritizes urgent items.
• Ensures all referral paperwork is complete and documented in EMR.
• Schedules patient follow-ups, labs, and port flushes as needed.
• Provides insurance authorization support and submits necessary documentation with diagnosis.
• Keeps patients informed of status of referrals and authorizations.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills in person and on the phone.
• Coordinates genetic testing with pathology to ensure proper specimen submission.
