The State Highway Administration’s (SHA) Office of Communications (OOC) is recruiting for an Administrative Manager (Administrator II) position in Baltimore City. This position is open to qualified candidates meeting the minimum and preferred qualifications listed below. The resulting list of eligible candidates will be used to fill this position or similar roles only. Reapplication is necessary for future recruitments.
Primary Responsibilities: Serve as the Administrative Chief for the Office of Communication, Office of Policy & Research, Office of Government Affairs, and Customer Relations. Ensure compliance with HR, procurement, and financial policies of the Transportation Service Human Resource System (TSHRS), MDOT, and DBM. Manage multiple programs and coordinate resources to support SHA's mission efficiently. Use independent judgment and strong organizational skills to perform and prioritize tasks. Support emergency operations as needed.
At least 2.5 years of experience involving human resources, procurement, and/or contract administration.
Substitutions for experience include college credits or degrees, or military service. No certifications are required.
