Responsibilities

Through a project‑based structure, the fellow contributes to high‑priority initiatives while building a comprehensive understanding of healthcare administration within a complex academic health system.

The role offers meaningful experience in strategic planning, financial and market analysis, partnership development, and executive‑level decision support, with work tailored to organizational needs and individual interests.

Representative areas of work include:

• Market & Financial Analysis – supporting service line and growth strategies in collaboration with Strategy and Finance teams.
• Strategic Planning – developing executive‑ and Board‑level materials to inform enterprise priorities.
• Growth & Partnerships – evaluating expansion opportunities and supporting collaborations with external organizations alongside Legal and Managed Care.
• Cross‑Functional Initiatives – partnering with Marketing & Communications, Government & Community Relations, and Population Health on enterprise‑wide priorities and community‑focused efforts.
• Executive Communications – contributing to materials for senior leadership and key external stakeholders.

Beyond project work, fellows have opportunities to engage directly with executive and administrative leaders through networking, shadowing, and site visits.
