RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an Administrative Director Patient Care for Perioperative Support Services at RWJ Hamilton to lead clinical and operational operations. You will drive quality, safety, staffing, and patient experiences in the perioperative arena.

You will guide recruitment, onboarding, education, competency validation, and professional development across nursing and support teams, while advancing a culture of clinical excellence in a high‑performing environment.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license and BSN required.
• MSN or related field preferred.
• One to three years nursing leadership/management experience preferred.
• Experience in ambulatory surgical centers is strongly preferred.
• Intraoperative OR nursing experience preferred.
• National nursing certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations of perioperative services to ensure timely, safe, high-quality care.
• Leads recruitment, onboarding, education, and performance management for nursing and support staff.

As the Administrative Director Patient Care Support Services, a typical day may include:

• Directing daily operations of the surgical services within RWJ Hamilton, including scheduling, patient flow, and facilities management to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality care.
• Director is responsible for establishing and maintaining a culture of clinical excellence, patient safety, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement while supporting the successful development and growth of the new ambulatory surgical program
• The Administrative Director provides leadership in recruitment, retention, onboarding, education, competency validation, performance management, succession planning, and professional development
• The Administrative Director is accountable for the overall clinical operations, quality, safety, staffing, patient experience, regulatory compliance, and performance of the assigned areas,
• The AdministrativeDirector serves as a visible, hands‑on leader who fosters autonomy, accountability, professional growth, and development of the nursing and support teams,

National nursing certification preferred. ACLS, BLS and PALS certification through the American Heart Association
