Zusammenfassung

Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) in Asheville, NC seeks an Administrative Director for the Department of Community and Public Health. This leader will guide strategic planning, program management, and grant-funded projects to improve health outcomes in western North Carolina.

The role oversees budgets, HR, and cross-functional teams, building partnerships with regional stakeholders and ensuring alignment with MAHEC goals.

Qualifikationen

BA or BS degree; master’s degree preferred; 5–10 years of program management and supervision experience.
Experience establishing productive relationships with stakeholders, senior leaders, officials and funders.
Strong written and verbal communication; excellent personnel management.

Aufgaben

Implement strategic and operational plans for department programs, grants, and evaluation needs.
Provide oversight to program directors, managers, coordinators, and project teams.
Develop relationships with internal and external leaders to advance initiatives.
Monitor budgets, grants, contracts, timelines and allocate tasks accordingly.
Foster an inclusive, collaborative culture and track program metrics.
