Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Administrative Director, Patient Care Services for Perioperative Services ensures that quality, age-appropriate nursing care is delivered to all patients in the perioperative care setting in accordance with the hospital's philosophy, policies, and program plans. The role involves assisting with the development of patient care standards, orientation, and continuing education in accordance with AORN standards of care, evaluating staff performance, and working directly with the VP for Surgical Services and the Operating Room Business Office to develop, implement, and maintain the unit budget.
