Job Summary And Qualifications

The Front Office Coordinator is responsible for reception, scheduling of patients, precertification, insurance verification, charge entry and daily census reconciliations. The Front Office Coordinator performs duties consistent with the scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care at RMC. The Front Office Coordinator displays positive support for the values and mission of HCA HealthONE.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Experience in front desk role in a hospital outpatient or medical practice setting; must have experience working with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Medical accounts billing desirable, Microsoft Office training preferred.
• Able to learn new information and follow through with instructions.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Knowledge of medical terminology. Communicates positively and professionally. Excellent customer service skills
