Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional team member to support our Home Energy Rating System (HERS) verification operations. This role involves adhering to established Residential New Construction (RNC) processes for managing and distributing official documentation, accurately entering third-party field results into state registries, and creating reports as needed. The ideal candidate will communicate effectively with clients, team members, and colleagues, offering guidance on HERS verifications and maintaining a positive, professional demeanor. Responsibilities also include answering and routing incoming calls, supporting administrative tasks, and ensuring timely and organized workflow execution. Candidates should possess strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, demonstrate excellent communication and analytical abilities, and be capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a commitment to customer service and teamwork.

Specific Duties

  • Adhere to RNC processes and workflow for tracking, filing and dispersing official documentation to our clients (HERS verifications).
  • Data Entry onto state registries of third-party field results for each project where performed the HERS verifications.
  • Communicate with Clients, TEAM members, and colleagues in a professional and positive manner via phone, email and in person.
  • Provide guidance and insight to our Clients regarding third-party HERS verifications.
  • Answer incoming calls when needed and route to appropriate person.
  • Create reports as required.
  • Maintain professional, well groomed appearance and positive attitude at all times.
  • Arrive at work on time ready to work.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Visual acuity to read and interpret digital data on screens and documents.
  • Occasional need to lift or move items up to 10 pounds (e.g., office supplies or equipment).
  • Ability to communicate clearly via phone, video conferencing, and written correspondence.
  • Must have a dedicated, ergonomically safe home workspace.

Standard Work Hours

  • Normal business hours (8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm). This position may require more than 40 hours per week including evenings and weekends. Some work will be performed via telecommunications from home.
