Job description

An investment firm across a variety of industries including tech and asset management is seeking a sharp and dedicated assistant with experience supporting attorneys/legal professionals to join its highly collaborative environment. This role will provide administrative support to the in-house counsel team.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to proactively manage and track various open tasks and assignments independently and collaboratively, and work on a variety of time-sensitive projects.

Salary commensurate with experience : $75-95k base range + paid Overtime + discretionary bonus + fully paid benefits, 401k, PTO and additional perks

Hours: 8:30am-5:30pm generally – Flexible for afterhours work if needed

Location: Midtown NYC, Onsite 5 days/week

*Will need to travel to Greenwich, CT office a few times/year

Responsibilities:

  • Active management of the team’s Outlook calendars, and coordinate scheduling of meetings and conference calls
  • Answer phones and relay messages
  • Assist with assembling and providing materials for meetings, calls and travel
  • Support and help organize electronic document systems, collecting and providing documents as needed to the legal team
  • Manage domestic and international travel and submit expense reports
  • Some personal support may be required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 2 – 4 years of administrative support, with legal team support experience required
  • Ability to work in a confidential manner and to handle sensitive information
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite especially Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
  • Undergraduate degree from accredited College/University required
