Job summary

Plante Moran is seeking an experienced administrative professional to support partners and teams in Day-to-day operations. You will manage calendars, prepare client deliverables, and coordinate meetings, travel, and billing processes to enable smooth client service.

The role requires strong communication, discretion, and MS Office skills, with opportunities to travel locally to clients. A minimum of HS diploma is required, with college coursework preferred and 3+ years in professional services.

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or GED required; higher education is a plus.
  • 3+ years in administrative or executive administrative roles, preferably in professional services.
  • Superior verbal and written communication with strong client service and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to travel locally or overnight to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Assist partners and team with day-to-day administrative tasks: scheduling, calendars, expense reports, billing, and travel arrangements.
  • Support production, editing, and distribution of client or Firm deliverables (proposals, presentations, reports, spreadsheets).
  • Schedule meetings and reserve conference rooms, arrange catering, equipment, and conference calls.
  • Distribute agendas, project lists, minutes, and reports for meetings as needed.
  • Manage CRM system and generate team reports.
  • Prepare forms and workflows (new client, job codes, check requests) and support billing processes.
  • Monitor training schedules and CPE reporting for the team.
  • Provide backup support to other administrative staff when needed.
  • Contribute to occasional office duties as required.

Your role.
Your Work Will Include, But Not Be Limited To
  • Assist partner(s) and other team members with various day-to-day administrative duties including scheduling and maintaining calendars, expense reports, organizing/processing billing, travel arrangements various other reservations.
  • Administer and assist with production, editing, and distribution of complex client or Firm deliverables, such as proposals, presentations, reports, spreadsheets, work plans and reports.
  • Schedule and organize various meetings, including reserving of conference rooms (coffee, water, meals, etc.), needed equipment and/or setting up conference calls.
  • Distribute agendas, project lists, minutes and reports in preparation of meetings, when required.
  • Manage Client Relationship Management (CRM) system for respective team members, including various reporting.
  • Prepare various forms and workflows (new client, job codes, check requests, etc.).
  • Monitor partner(s) team training schedules and CPE reporting.
  • Assist other administrative assistants, when necessary; provide backup when needed.
  • Any other office duties as required.
The Qualifications.
  • HS Diploma or GED equivalent required. Higher level of education/college coursework preferred.
  • 3 or more years of experience working in an administrative or executive administrative role, preferably in professional services.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills with a focus on client service and the ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative while maintaining high confidentiality.
  • Solid technical proficiency including knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Opportunity to travel locally or overnight to clients.

The compensation range reflects the base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this position across our offices in the following regions: CO, IL, OH, and MA. Generally, experienced hires are not hired at or near the maximum salary range, as compensation decisions take into account a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to: responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. For early career roles, including campus hires, we offer standardized, market-based starting salaries among individuals within the same hiring group. This approach ensures fairness and reflects current industry benchmarks for entry-level talent.

The compensation range for this role in CO, IL, OH, and MA is: $23.50 - $38.74
