Midland County in Texas seeks an Administrative Assistant to support the Chief Juvenile Probation Officer (CJPO). Responsibilities include screening calls, calendar management, travel planning, meeting arrangements, and preparing reports and financial data.
You will assist with budgets, invoicing, and TJJD reporting, and work with auditors to ensure fiscal accountability. A valid Texas driver’s license is required and some college is preferred.

Minimum high school diploma, or its equivalent, some college preferred, plus at least two years of experience, or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Must have a valid Texas Driver's License. Obtain and maintain TJJD certificates/requirements.
Computers, Microsoft word, Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, Microsoft Access, standard office practices and procedures; and general bookkeeping practices.
Operate office equipment such as copy machine and facsimile machine, read manuals and memos, write messages, letters, and memos, perform mathematical calculations, perform bookkeeping functions, communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and the general public.
