LifeStream, Inc. in Fall River, MA is seeking a friendly receptionist/administrative assistant to greet visitors, answer calls, manage mail, and support multiple departments. The role is Monday–Friday, 30–40 hours per week, with an starting hourly rate of $23.75.

You will handle data entry, basic accounting support, scheduling, and office supply management while maintaining confidentiality and presenting a professional image for the company and its clients.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in an administrative or receptionist role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors and employees in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, invoices, checks and deliveries.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Schedule and prepare for conference room bookings.
  • Assist with data entry, filing, and document management.
  • Support HR, finance, and other departments with administrative tasks.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of reception, conference room, and kitchen.

Job description

Schedule is: Monday-Friday 30 to 40 hours
Hourly rate starting at $23.75
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Greet and assist visitors and employees in a courteous and professional manner
  • Answer and direct incoming calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, invoices, checks and deliveries
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
  • Schedule and prepare for conference room bookings
  • Assist with data entry, filing, and document management
  • Support HR, finance, and other departments with administrative tasks
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception, conference room, and kitchen area
  • Handle confidential information with discretion
  • Exercise sound judgment in decision-making and proactively seeks guidance when faced with complex or unfamiliar situations
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support office operations
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • Maintenance of an acceptable CORI and fingerprinting
  • Valid Driver’s license
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proven experience in an administrative or receptionist role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
  • Excellent, written, verbal, organizational skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

  • The incumbent must maintain skills necessary to safely and efficiently operate office equipment and machines used in the performance of this job
