  • Communications: Serve as a welcoming first point of contact for the office across all channels, maintaining a professional and supportive tone at all times.
  • Program & Administrative Support: Provide day-to-day administrative support across OPEN programs and initiatives, including bystander intervention education, sexual health programming, and other wellness campaigns.
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, presentations, and major events, including scheduling, room reservations, and preparation of materials.
  • Track attendance for major programs and produce summary reports for leadership.
  • Support budget reconciliation by organizing and processing invoices.
  • Oversee a range of administrative projects including vendor coordination, supply management, and general office workflow.
  • Maintain and organize confidential records and sensitive materials with discretion and in compliance with university policies.

## Administrative Assistant, Office for Prevention & EducationApplylocations: Boston, MA (Main Campus)time type: Full timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: R141104**About the Opportunity**The Office of Prevention and Education at Northeastern (OPEN) is a collaborative, student-facing office at Northeastern University dedicated to prevention, education, and training in the areas of alcohol and other drug use, sexual violence, sexual health, and broader wellness initiatives. The Administrative Assistant will collaborate with the team of nine staff to support the daily operations of the office. This role is well suited for someone who brings strong organizational skills, sound professional judgment, and a genuine commitment to student well-being.
