Plante Moran, PLLC is seeking an experienced administrative professional to support multiple partners and their teams in a flexible remote/in-person role in Chicago. You will assist with client deliverables, coordinate meetings and travel, and manage invoices and expenses within the firm’s systems.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in admin roles, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Formación

  • HS diploma or GED required; college coursework preferred.
  • 5+ years in administrative or executive roles, preferably in professional services.
  • Superior verbal and written communication with client service focus and high confidentiality.
  • Strong MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsabilidades

  • Provide day-to-day support for multiple partners and teams in remote and in-person format.
  • Assist with proposals, presentations, reports, and spreadsheets.
  • Coordinate meetings and events including travel for partners and staff.
  • Manage client invoices and hours/expense detail in the Firm’s practice management system.
  • Develop proficiency in Workday, WYN, and LCvista to train staff.
  • Support internal/external meetings with equipment, meals, and setup.
  • Contribute to administrative projects and maintain communications across the organization.
  • Assist with Chicago office‑level support needs.
  • Contribute to operational support documentation for Management Consulting.

Role

Your role. Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Provide day-to-day support for multiple partners and their respective teams in a remote and in-person format.
  • Assist with the production of client or Firm deliverables such as proposals, presentations, reports, and spreadsheets.
  • Coordinate meetings and events including travel arrangements for partners and staff.
  • Navigate reporting, create and review client invoices, and utilize hours and expense detail in the Firm’s practice management system.
  • Attain a proficient level of operational knowledge in the Firm’s operational systems like Workday, WYN, and LCvista to be capable of training practice staff in the appropriate use of the systems.
  • Align and support arrangements for internal and external meetings/events in conference rooms, including needed equipment and/or conference and video calls, catered meals, setup, clean‑up, etc.
  • Assist with administrative projects.
  • Maintain frequent communication with all levels of the organization.
  • Provide focused support with operational procedures related to multiple practice areas within Management Consulting.
  • Assist with Chicago office‑level support needs.
  • Actively contribute to the compilation and maintenance of operational support documentation for designated practice area(s) and Management Consulting.

This is a non-exempt position, so you may have to work hours that exceed the standard 40‑hour work week.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Higher level of education/college coursework preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience working in an administrative or executive administrative role, preferably in professional services.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills with a focus on client service and the ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative while maintaining high confidentiality.
  • Solid technical proficiency including knowledge of MS Office applications (particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

Salary

The compensation range for this role in CO, IL, OH, and MA is: $25.83 - $38.74.

The compensation range reflects the base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this position across our offices in the following regions: CO, IL, OH, and MA. Please review the position description for theapplicable geographic location. Generally, experienced hires are not hired at or near the maximum salary range, as compensation decisions take into account a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. For early career roles, including campus hires, we offer standardized, market-based starting salaries among individuals within the same hiring group. This approach ensures fairness and reflects current industry benchmarks for entry‑level talent.
