Job summary

Plante Moran is seeking an experienced administrative professional to support multiple partners in a hybrid in-person/remote setting in Chicago. You will help produce proposals, presentations, and reports, coordinate meetings, and manage travel arrangements for senior staff.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in executive administrative roles, strong client service, and proficiency in MS Office. You will work within Management Consulting and contribute to operational documentation and events.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; higher education preferred.
  • 5+ years in administrative or executive administrative role in professional services.
  • Superior verbal and written communication with client-service focus and confidentiality.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support for partners and teams in remote and in-person format.
  • Assist with client or firm deliverables such as proposals, presentations, reports, and spreadsheets.
  • Coordinate meetings and travel arrangements for partners and staff.
  • Navigate reporting, create and review client invoices, and track hours/expenses in the Firm’s PM system.
  • Attain proficiency in Workday, WYN, and LCVista for staff training.

Your role.

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Provide day-to-day support for multiple partners and their respective teams in a remote and in-person format.
  • Assistwith the production of client or Firm deliverables such as proposals, presentations, reports, and spreadsheets.
  • Coordinate meetings and events including travel arrangements for partners and staff.
  • Navigate reporting, create and review client invoices, and utilize hours and expense detail in the Firm’s practice management system.
  • Attain a proficient level of operational knowledge in the Firm’s operational systems like Workday, WYN, andLCvistatobe capable of training practice staff inthe appropriate use of the systems.
  • Align and support arrangements for internal and external meetings/events in conference rooms, includingneeded equipmentand/or conference and video calls, catered meals, setup, clean-up, etc.
  • Assistwith administrative projects.
  • Maintain frequent communication with all levels of the organization.
  • Provide focused support with operational procedures related tomultiple practice areas within Management Consulting.Assist with Chicagooffice-level support needs.
  • Actively contribute to the compilation and maintenance of operational support documentation for designated practice area(s) and Management Consulting.
The qualifications.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalentrequired. Higher level of education/college coursework preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience working in an administrative or executive administrative role, preferably in professional services.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills with a focus on client service and the ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative whilemaintaininghigh confidentiality.
  • Solid technicalproficiencyincluding knowledge of MS Office applications (particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

This is a non-exempt position, so you may have to work hours that exceed the standard 40-hour work week.

The compensation range reflects the base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this position across our offices in the following regions: CO, IL, OH, and MA. Generally, experienced hires are not hired at or near the maximum salary range, as compensation decisions take into account a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. For early career roles, including campus hires, we offer standardized, market-based starting salaries among individuals within the same hiring group. This approach ensures fairness and reflects current industry benchmarks for entry-level talent.

The compensation range for this role in CO, IL, OH, and MA is: $25.83 - $38.74.
