Description
POSITION SUMMARY
This position provides administrative support to the Dean of Students and the Deans of Academics, ensuring the effective operation of the Success Center and academic programs. This involves coordinating student attendance and discipline records, including communication with students, parents, teachers, and school administrators. The position also supports the assignment of substitute teachers and all related protocols. This individual must demonstrate a servant-hearted approach and a commitment to delivering an excellent customer service experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Success Center
- Communicate professionally, clearly, and concisely with parents, students, and staff for the purpose of providing information on students.
- Monitor and maintain data in various school information systems relating to student attendance, discipline, and other pertinent information.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to the Success Center in multiple areas including but not limited to:
- Creation and coordination of a variety of reports, written correspondence, and other documents and communication
- Creates and maintains a comprehensive hard copy and electronic filing system related to school attendance and school discipline
- Assist with calendar oversight and scheduling for the Dean of Students and the Assistant Dean of Students.
- Assist with calendaring, logistics, and support for Success Center processes, events, and programming
- Deliver call slips for students needing to meet with the Dean or Assistant Dean
- Assist with student accountability related to dress standards and enforcement
- Organize detention scheduling, supervision, records, and billing
- Collaborate with other departments and offices to ensure inquiries and requests have been addressed; occasional support of administrative tasks in other departments, as needed
- Coordinate with counselors, teachers, students, and parents on extended student absences
- Monitor students who are in the Success Center throughout the day
- Coordinate with Campus Safety and the Welcome Center on applicable student discipline matters
- Coordinate early dismissals with athletics and communicate with teachers
- Coordinate with an outside agency, Dean of Students, and Assistant Dean of Students to schedule drug testing and provide supervision for students waiting to be tested
- Follow established guidelines in maintaining and distributing student medication
Academic Support
- Substitute teacher protocols
- Upon a Dean's approval of a faculty time off request, contact and assign substituteteachers, ensuring all teacher absences are covered in a timely manner
- Arrange substitutes for all unplanned and prearranged teacher absences.
- Maintain and update the Sub Scheduler, documenting all substitute assignments,including teacher absences, periods, substitute names, and timeframes.
- Create a daily substitute teacher packet for each substitute teacher
- Update and maintain a list of approved substitute teachers, and regularly assess theirperformance, providing feedback to Academic Deans as needed.
- Review substitute teacher timesheets in Paycom for accuracy at the end of each payperiod
- Administrative support for academics
- Provide administrative support to the Academic Deans
- Coordinate with Academic Deans to schedule makeup semester final exams
- Student cumulative files and immunization records
- Support the Admissions and Registrar’s offices in collecting, reviewing, and approvingcumulative records for new students (incoming 9th and transfer students)
- Coordinate with the Admissions and Registrar’s offices to ensure that all students areup to date with immunizations and that information is housed appropriately in internalschool systems

Education
Associate’s Degree or Certificate required; BA or BS Degree preferred
Experience
- Equivalent administrative support experience in a variety of fields preferred. Christian School experience preferred.
- Experience working with Database / Management Software, Management Software, Google Docs, Microsoft Suite
- Demonstrated customer service experience
LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, AND CLEARANCES
- Cleared Background/Fingerprint check
- Valid CPR certifications
- Cleared TB assessment
- Completion of Ministry Safe Training
