Grade 17, AFSCME Unit position, 37.5 hours/week
Campus Location: Danvers (Primary) and Lynn campuses
SALARY: $2,266.94 biweekly, ($58,940.44 per year) with fringe benefits. An appointment made from outside the bargaining unit (AFSCME) must start at this salary, step #1 of the range or as adjusted in accordance with the AFSCME collective bargaining agreement. The ideal candidate for this role will join an energetic and inclusive educational community, and must have the desire and ability to work with a diverse population. The Administrative Assistant II is responsible for providing administrative support to the Dean of Enrollment Services while performing administrative duties requiring a high degree of confidentiality, decision making ability and exceptional responsiveness to internal and external requests. This position will assist with the development and integration of student centered services in support of Recruitment and Admission, Financial Aid, Veterans Services, and Student Accounts. The Administrative Assistant will support the Dean with the division's budget, calendars, communication efforts, and all division meetings. Moreover, this position will work with the Dean and their reporting areas to triage student inquiries in person and/or virtually to enhance the student experience.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Reports to the Dean of Enrollment Services
An Associate's or higher degree with a major other than in business administration, business management or public administration may be substituted for a maximum of one year of the required experience.*
Knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of supervision
NOTE: Educational substitutions will only be permitted for a maximum of two years of the required experience.
