Description

Administrative Assistant II

Penn United Technologies, Inc. is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant II to join our Carbide Customer Service team. The role involves working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, performing order entry, contract reviews, clerical support, and other tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities
  • Perform data and order entry; track jobs from order to completion; provide follow-up and troubleshooting.
  • Use computer systems for logging orders, receiving, and data retrieval.
  • Conduct contract reviews.
  • Coordinate workflow and ensure all paperwork (orders, blueprints, shipping data) accompanies each job.
  • Handle clerical duties such as typing, copying, filing, and report maintenance.
  • Support tasks like shipping, inspecting, inventory counts, and order entry.
  • Prepare and send packaging slips, invoices, bills, and receipts.
  • Manage shipments and prepare purchase orders as needed.
  • Assist with inventory management and control.
Qualifications

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong typing and data entry skills.
  • High accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and internet navigation; ability to learn new software quickly.

Education & Experience
