Job Title: Administrative Assistant II
Location: Remote, RI02895
Duration: 8 Months+

Pay Rate: $18.90. on W2

Job Summary:
  • The assignment will encompass all administrative support needed to assist HEDIS Abstractors with the collection and entry of member health information from medical records located in provider locations.
  • Must commit to duration of the project with the understanding that work hours can be varied.
  • Due to proprietary information, must inform employer if they are planning to accept employment with another MCO.
  • Assist the HEDIS department with outreach calls to our Social Risk Factors population to close gaps in care.
  • Provide a wide variety of administrative support for a manager, multiple managers or departments. Compose correspondence, compile & analyze data, manage calendar and is a delegate for Manager activities in eService.

Duties:
  • Communicate with provider office.
  • Fax provider member list to obtain medical records.
  • Document such activity.
  • Assist HEDIS team with day to day operations.
  • Handle incoming calls from HEDIS abstractors and providers, print samples/location pull lists for abstractors.
  • Print and fax request for medical records to providers.
  • Troubleshoot logistics with providers and abstractors.
  • Data entry as needed to support the project.
  • Project Coordination.

Required Experience:
  • Medical knowledge/terminology is required.
  • Knowledge of HEDIS and reviewing medical records is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret medical records.
  • Professional demeanor and good work ethic.
  • Conscientious problem solver, willing to learn, and take personal pride in their work performance/accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – clear, concise and appropriate.
  • Computer savvy: Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and Adobe reader (if applicable) required. Know how to save a file to a folder.
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
  • Be able to work Monday – Friday. Must commit to Full-Time (40 hours a week) unless otherwise arranged.
  • Proven organizational and time management skills.
  • Be flexible and work under pressure (awareness of and ability to meet deadlines).
  • Must keep all information collected in a safe, organized and confidential manner.

Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
