General Purpose

Provides administrative support for Academic Programs within the School of Arts and Sciences (CRJ as main department). Responsibilities include managing calls, visitors, mail, email, maintaining files, coordinating meetings, and handling budget transactions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external constituents.
  • Handle budget-related tasks, including ordering supplies and processing expenses.
  • Prepare correspondence and maintain files and databases.
  • Coordinate hiring requests, budget transfers, contracts, and room reservations.
  • Manage department events.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 to 3 years of office experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Jenzabar Software
Public Contact Responsibility
  • Daily contact requiring courtesy, discretion, and sound judgment.
Salary Information
