Bellevue School District is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide secretarial support to a school assistant principal, performing skilled word processing, data entry and typing. The role involves answering phones, managing records, preparing reports for the AP, and processing payments for activities and budgets.
Additional duties include coordinating meetings, supporting office staff, and providing health-clinic assistance when needed.

Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met. Incumbents may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, odors, chemicals, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, workspace restrictions, and intense noises.
AISP pay range D $31.44 to $33.39 (starting at $31.44 per hour) 40 hours per week for a 197 day annual assignment. This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. Medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, and life-insurance eligibility is based upon 630 hours worked within a school year. Retirement provided through Washington State Department of Retirement Systems.
