  • Knowledge of 12-Step programs and/or addiction treatment principles preferred.
  • Able to pass PA Criminal History Record Check and clearances.
  • Office-based in Substance Use Disorder treatment setting.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming telephone calls, transfer calls, and relay messages.
  • Provide information regarding GRC programs and services to patients, families, physicians, and visitors.
  • Greet patients and family members as they arrive to begin admissions.
  • Collect and copy photo identification, insurance cards, and prescription cards for new admissions when available.
  • Coordinate scheduled appointments with the Admissions Department.
  • Serve as a communication liaison during emergencies.
  • Perform routine administrative duties (memos, forms, letters).
  • Accurately distribute patient belongings dropped off at the front desk.
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
  • Handle stressful situations and maintain composure during high-pressure scenarios.
  • Ensure the waiting area remains clean, welcoming, and comfortable.
  • Attend required GRC trainings and in-service programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
