Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Location: Remote

Assignment Type: Contract, Full Time

Compensation: $28-$30 / hour

Work Schedule: 8am - 5pm

On-Site or Hybrid: Fully Remote

An Addison Group client is looking for an Administrative Assistant!

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative and scheduling support for senior team members.
  • Assist with event coordination, volunteer assignments, and travel logistics.
  • Manage volunteer data and profiles in organizational systems (including LineUp or similar tools).
  • Serve as backup to senior administrative staff during high-volume periods, holidays, or leave.
  • Communicate with global volunteers, ensuring compliance with policies and deadlines.
  • Support item development and translation processes with international teams.
  • Monitor shared inboxes and ensure timely response to international inquiries, including outside of standard hours during peak periods.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and documents as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of programs and events.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of administrative, program support, or volunteer coordination experience.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with cultural awareness and sensitivity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with volunteer management systems a plus.
  • Professional, approachable, and assertive demeanor; able to set boundaries with external stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to work across time zones and occasionally outside of standard hours.
  • Multilingual skills (Arabic, Chinese, or Spanish preferred).
  • International travel experience or familiarity with global business processes is a plus.
