Role Dimension
- Assigned to a construction project site and responsible for supporting day-to-day construction operations.
- Works autonomously on assigned administrative and coordination activities.
- Acts as a liaison between construction management, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and local stakeholders.
- Supports the setup, maintenance, and continuous improvement of site administrative processes and reporting tools.
- Coordinates with project teams located at the site and, when required, with remote project offices.
Job Purpose
To support the Site Construction Management team in achieving safe, efficient, and organized project execution by coordinating administrative activities, workforce logistics, documentation, communications, and stakeholder interfaces throughout the construction phase.
The Site Construction Assistant plays a critical role in maintaining effective site operations and ensuring timely communication among project stakeholders while supporting compliance with project procedures and HSE requirements.

Main Accountabilities
Site Coordination & Administration
- Support daily construction activities through effective coordination of site administrative functions.
- Process incoming and outgoing correspondence and maintain project records and databases.
- Maintain site filing systems, document registers, and project records.
- Coordinate site access requirements, visitor management, and onboarding activities.
Meetings & Communication
- Organize and coordinate site meetings, safety meetings, workshops, and project reviews.
- Prepare meeting invitations, attendance records, and meeting minutes.
- Facilitate communication between construction teams, subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
Workforce & Logistics Support
- Assist with workforce rosters, and accommodation logistics when applicable.
- Coordinate travel, transportation, and site-related logistics as required.
- Support timesheet collection and workforce attendance tracking.
Project Reporting & Tools
- Set up and maintain site tracking tools and reporting systems.
- Support preparation of weekly and monthly construction reports.
- Maintain action logs, punch lists, and follow-up registers.
- Coordinate updates from multiple disciplines and consolidate project information.
Compliance & HSE Support
- Assist in maintaining compliance with company procedures and site requirements.
- Support documentation of safety meetings, training records, and certifications.
- Ensure project records are maintained in accordance with company and client requirements.
Stakeholder Support
- Provide administrative support for interactions with local stakeholders.
- Support community engagement activities as directed by project management.
- Act as a professional representative of the project within the local community.

Requirements & Experiential Learnings
Required
- Associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent professional experience.
- Previous experience in a project coordination, administrative, construction support, or site services role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic construction environment.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel daily to the project site.
Preferred
- Previous experience supporting industrial, LNG, EPC, energy, petrochemical, heavy civil, or construction projects.
- Experience working at an active construction site.
- Familiarity with document control and project reporting systems.
- Experience coordinating support services for a large contractor workforce.

Strong Preference for Local Talent
This position supports a long-term construction project located in Cameron Parish, Louisiana.
Preference will be given to candidates who:
- Currently reside in Cameron Parish, Calcasieu Parish, or surrounding Southwest Louisiana communities.
- Have knowledge of the local area, workforce, and service providers.
- Can reliably commute to the project site on a daily basis.
- Demonstrate a commitment to supporting local community engagement and workforce initiatives.
