Garfield County, Colorado's Clerk & Recorder’s Office in Glenwood Springs seeks an Administrative Support Specialist to handle clerical and office duties. You will process mail, file documents, and assist with accounts payable while digitizing records and delivering courteous service to the public.
The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, one year of admin or reception experience, and a valid driver’s license; state certification must be obtained within one year of hire.
Performs a variety of routine and complex clerical, administrative, and support duties for the Clerk & Recorder’s Office.
Other duties as assigned.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: One year of administrative or reception experience with proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office programs.
Licenses & Certifications: Valid driver’s license. Must obtain State certification within one year of hire.

Work is primarily performed in a standard office environment.
This position is required to work out of the Glenwood Springs location and/or the Rifle location, and may be required to travel between both locations during the workday.
Computer and relevant software applications, spreadsheets, calendars, and word processing. Will also work with calculators, telephone systems, and mobile phones.
NOTE: This position requires a pre-employment background check which will include a Criminal Background Check, Employment Verification, and Motor Vehicle Record Check. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of these items.
