What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Provide complex administrative and program-related support to the Bureau Director
  • Assist with the coordination of internal new hire training and various workgroups
  • Support the administration of the nurse aide training and testing program
  • Serve as administrative support for key DQA functions, including the Civil Money Penalty Redistribution Program (CMPRP)
  • Communicate with public officials, media, legislators, and other stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Experience providing customer service and maintaining effective working relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite applications (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
  • Experience researching questions/issues and providing detailed information clearly
  • Ability to rotate as the DQA phone receptionist and manage office supplies
  • Must be available for occasional travel and overnight stays for trainings and conferences
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience providing administrative support to a regulatory agency, training, or grant program
  • Familiarity with legislation, statutes, and administrative codes or processes
  • Experience coordinating meetings or training events
  • Skills in creating and facilitating Teams channels for project organization
