What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Provide complex administrative and program-related support to the Bureau Director
- Assist with the coordination of internal new hire training and various workgroups
- Support the administration of the nurse aide training and testing program
- Serve as administrative support for key DQA functions, including the Civil Money Penalty Redistribution Program (CMPRP)
- Communicate with public officials, media, legislators, and other stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications)
- Experience providing customer service and maintaining effective working relationships
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite applications (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
- Experience researching questions/issues and providing detailed information clearly
- Ability to rotate as the DQA phone receptionist and manage office supplies
- Must be available for occasional travel and overnight stays for trainings and conferences
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience providing administrative support to a regulatory agency, training, or grant program
- Familiarity with legislation, statutes, and administrative codes or processes
- Experience coordinating meetings or training events
- Skills in creating and facilitating Teams channels for project organization
