Trinity Health Medical Group (THMG) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Medical Director to lead our Regional Maternal Fetal Medicine team located in West Michigan.

The Medical Director will provide Physician leadership and oversight for our Maternal Fetal Medicine Service Line, collaborating with our Administrative & Clinical Director for Womens & Childrens Services in a dyad relationship alongside our OB/GYN Medical Directors for Grand Rapids and the Lakeshore. This leadership role offers the opportunity to shape and enhance our Maternal Fetal program within a mission-driven organization dedicated to making a lasting impact on the communities we serve.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Clinical Leadership: Oversee and lead Trinity Health Medical Group, Maternal Fetal Medicine service line, ensuring the highest quality of care for complex maternal fetal cases.
2. Patient Care: Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for individuals with high-risk pregnancies, including diagnostic, consultative, and management services. Collaborate closely with obstetricians, neonatologists, and other specialists to ensure coordinated care.
3. Program Development: Work with administrative and clinical leadership to develop and enhance the Maternal Fetal Medicine program. The Medical Director will be responsible for the assigned offices and programs in West Michigan, focusing on Quality, Service Excellence, Colleague Engagement, Stewardship, and financial goals.
4. Education and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to medical students and residents.

Qualifications:

1. Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal Fetal Medicine
2. Minimum of 5 years of Maternal Fetal Medicine medical practice experience
3. Preferred: 2 years of leadership experience or specialized training for the role
4. Physicians must be board certified or eligible, with certification within 2 years of eligibility
5. Michigan medical license required at employment start
6. DEA license
7. ACLS & BLS certification
