Marshfield Network Region of Sanford Health is seeking a Vice President of Medical Affairs – Hospital Medical Director for the West Region supporting the Eau Claire, Rice Lake, and Ladysmith campuses. This individual will collaborate with a President dyad partner, as well as with other members of the system and local leadership teams, to uphold the mission, vision, and values of Sanford Health and Marshfield Clinic. The VPMA will serve as the Hospital Medical Director for the Marshfield Medical Center facilities in the region, overseeing multiple inpatient and outpatient service lines and medical specialties. The role includes direct oversight of hospital-based specialties within the regions. The position is 0.9 FTE administrative and 0.1 FTE clinical.
Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.), from an accredited institution recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
Leadership experience with a demonstrated understanding of healthcare and medical economics in managed healthcare, with evidence of applying this knowledge in daily activities.
Board certification by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or the American Osteopathic Board of Medical Specialties (AOBMS). Licenses with restrictions are subject to review for relevance to the position.
