Job Overview

Bens Contracting Center is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and dependable Admin Office Assistant member to support the daily operations of our growing company. In this role, you'll perform a variety of clerical and bookkeeping tasks, support our accounting processes, and contribute to a collaborative office environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including basic bookkeeping tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records in vendor databases and customer files.
  • Organize and file documents such as vendor invoices, payment receipts, and other company records.
  • Process customer payments and vendor invoices promptly and accurately.
  • Pack and ship company materials as needed for internal or customer use.
  • Assist in resolving customer billing or account questions with professionalism and urgency.
  • Handle email communication with customers and vendors.
  • Maintain a positive, professional demeanor in all interactions, supporting team communication and collaboration.
  • Help streamline office procedures for greater efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Experience in administrative, office, or clerical work (bookkeeping experience is a plus!).
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with email, filing systems, and basic computer applications.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
